Invicta Ove 10 kW Wood Burning Stove
The 10 kW Ove Wood Burning Stove from Invicta. A spectacular, state-of-the-art freestanding stove featuring Invicta's post-combustion technology. The Ove is a beautiful feature fire with modern design mixed with leading edge combustion technology. The Ove can burn for up to 10 hours on a single load of fuel. Burn times depend on the shape and size of the logs burnt. smaller more chopped logs burn fast and produce high levels of heat. Longer and thicker logs will release their energy slower and burn for longer.
Post-combustion: the injection of additional heated air via the back of the stove, burns gases and dust coming from wood combustion. The post-combustion allows a complete burn and converts these otherwise wasted pollutants to energy, resulting in lower emissions and high performance heating.

Products Questions:Posted byon Monday, 29 January 2018
Can this be free standing on glass or granite , and isso what is the recommended depth . Thank you
Posted byon Thursday, 17 November 2016
Posted byon Monday, 29 January 2018Yes, minimum of 12mm thick hearth required for this stove as hearth temperature does not exceed 100 degrees, e.g. glass, granite or tiles, etc.1 people found this answer helpfull.
Should this stand on a constructional hearth or could it stand on a 12mm hearth?
Posted byon Wednesday, 8 July 2015
Posted byon Thursday, 17 November 201612mm hearth minimum requirement.
What is the minimum distance the fire can be near a fire retardant wall?
Posted byon Wednesday, 1 October 2014
Posted byon Wednesday, 8 July 2015If you mean a non combustible wall (brick/concrete) then 150mm clearance around the stove. If you mean a combustible wall but with a heat shield then as long as the heat shield is mounted 12mm away from the wall and 12mm off the flue (so there is an air gap) then this will also be 150mm. Otherwise the stove will need to be 500mm away from the wall at the rear and 600mm away at the sides.
Can the flue be angled out through the wall at about six foot with a slight bend? Flat roof material construction will not allow flue straight out of the top. Thanks

Posted byon Wednesday, 1 October 2014Hi, Yes you can go out through the wall at 45degrees upward sloping angle. However it is recommended that you come off the top and go vertical for no less than 600mm before fitting a bend. Also the portion of your flue which will be at an angle as it passes through the wall must be no more than 20% of the overall flue length.
Please can you tell me if you can burn smokeless fuel on this fire as I understand there are two beds, one flat and one with air gaps? Also, when loading another log, does ash fall out of the door upon opening? Many thanks.
Posted byon Tuesday, 30 September 2014Hi, This and all other current Invicta models are wood burning only. There is a small fuel retainer in the stove wood shoild be loaded towards the rear of the stove, leaning against the rear liner. In use the fuel will burn down and there will be very little ash left. As with all stoves there will be a bit of ash escaping when adding fuel.

This is a great stove. It heats my entire room and more. I have quite a large kitchen and dining room attatched and this room adequately heats that then heats right out to the front of my staircase. Excellent stove, for its size, excellent value for money, I really recommend if you are looking for something of this power, buy this one. Guests comment that is is a great feature to our house and does not look bulky and out of place as we originally thought it might.
