We decided to replace our gas central heating system with a wood boiler and searched the internet for a suitable product. The Stratford SEB 20 Eco Boiler ticked all the right boxes; correct output for our 3 bed terraced house, large single door, simple clean looks and a reasonable price.
We were a bit reticent about ordering the boiler off the internet but it arrived in one piece and works perfectly. It is very easy to control the heat output via the thermostat and produces plenty of hot water. I would recommend installing a radiator in the same room as the boiler because it diverts a lot of its heat to producing hot water and not a huge amount out the actual boiler. This is perfect as you can use it on low in summer to give you hot water and it does not heat the room up too much. In cold weather turn up the thermostat and the radiator warms the room.
We are very pleased with the boiler and will not be going back to gas central heating. Well worth the cost.
