Last year i reviewed all the products on the market and settled on the Stratford SEB20. I can say without any negativity at all that after one year of service this is the best piece of kit i have invested in.
I linked the log burner / boiler with a H2 Link Panel to my existing oil boiler, and whilst not the cheepest thing i've ever had to pay for, i have saved over £800 this year on fuel bills. Not only that the SEB20's ability to self regulate itself means that during the winter months it was practically alight for the entire period, (including nights).
The only point of note is that in order to maintain the efficient running of this burner you must kepp the grate clear and the ash pan empty. i burned a combination of coal and logs but if your not carefull the ash from the coal can cause the grate to clog. Coal clinkers, (due to the huge heat generated), are also something to look out for as they can bridge the grate bars and cause a week flame.
Overall i would not hesitate in recommending this product.
