This little multifuel stove the Acorn 4 is one of the smaller woodburners you can buy,the heat output is 4kw ,enough for a normal lounge.It burns coal and wood very efficiently.I installed it myself with the help of family,took us a day,i already had a flue up the chimney.
I had bought some wood and coal the week before so i was itchin to light it up and see how it preformed, Wow .......the heat that this thing threw out into my lounge was awesome,what a pleasure watching the flames and listening to the wood crackling,sheer joy,and by the way NO smell,these woodburners have an airwash system built in to the front door,this controls the air getting into the burner which also controls the burning rate of your fuel,very easy to use. As ive got use to my little woody over these last cold winter months dare i say but i also cook on it,My kettle has pride of place,and ive cooked the odd stew ,but keep it to yourself .All in all my woodburner has kept me warm,given me hot water for tea and coffee,and cooked my dinner ! I love it.
