A solid piece of cast iron that, based on my previous grates, should last me at least 5 years and maybe 10 years if I'm lucky.
I found obtaining this special item wasn't easy and, although it was on back order, I was kept well informed and it still arrived within a couple of weeks.

This is a great price. I bought one of theses stoves three years ago (a lot more than £298) and it has been really good. My room is 18ft x 12ft and it gets it lovely and warm. It will burn equally well on coal but I tend to mix coal with dry wood.
