Invicta Odyssée Wood Burning Stove

 Incicta's Odyssée Stove 12kw freestanding wood burning stove. A state of the art designer stove featuring Invicta's post combustion technology. 

The Odyssée is the design concept of  Y. Gafsou, one of Invicta's in house design team. 

Modern efficient wood heating for the 21st century, the Odyssée uses a  fresh air intake duct at the rear. This allows the Odyssée to be plumbed up so that it draws its air from outside rather than the room. This adds to the thermal efficiency of the house and does away with the need for additional ventilation. The fire box on this model is lined with refractory Chamotte bricks to reflect heat forward through the lage curved window.

The Odyssée can burn for up to 10 hours on a single load of fuel.  Burn times depend on the shape and size of the logs burnt. smaller more chopped logs burn fast and produce high levels of heat.  Longer and thicker logs will release their energy slower and burn for longer.

Post-combustion: the injection of additional heated air via the back of the stove, burns gases and dust coming from wood combustion.  The Post-combustion allows a complete burn and converts these other wise wasted pollutants to energy, resulting in lower emissions and high performance heating.
